OK, day 3 was definitely a good day! Actually it was only the evening since Bob & I both work during the day pretending to do computer storage type stuff!!!

As you can see from the pictures above, THERE IS A TURBO CHARGER IN MY CAR!!!!!!! We actually worked through many of the issues we cited yesterday. Also, Ray and Don at Burien provided some critical information we needed to continue. For example, the pipes supplied for the intake pipe and dump tube were purposely left long so that they could be cut to a custom length. We did that and the intake pipe fits fine. Another was the oil filter problem; it lands up that the 1991 Camry (prior to generation 3) does not have the oil cooler and therefore we could use the union from it to provide the threaded fitting for the oil filter. Thanks to Don at Burien for supplying the needed part number!

Bob got out the torches and fixed the problem with the oil dipstick. He bent it back toward the front of the engine instead of toward the front of the car. That's now out of the way.

We actually got a lot done in the 4 or 5 hours of work tonight:

Now we are waiting for the new union to be able to install the oil filter. Tomorrow we will also make some brackets to hold some relocated electrical connections and possibly add support where needed.
