Day 5

Well, again, no pictures today. Tonight we installed a temporary exhaust pipe to connect the dump pipe to the exhaust. Bob brought out the torches again! Did his best with the brazing. It looks kind of cool, but may not stand up to the high temperature of the exhaust for too long. But it will get me to the exhaust shop...and a couple of spins around the neighborhood.

We also extended the O2 sensor wires. This was kind of a pain because the wire that carries the voltage generated by the sensor is shielded. This meant we had to use shielded wire to extend it and solder the shielding togther. Not too tough...just tedious.

Also, took care of the fuel leak with a new fuel filter...it had been a while since it was last replaced.
