Bob's Vette

As you can tell from the above pictures, the install (for the most part) is done! You can see the pictures of the temporary exhaust pipe. Bob's not too proud of it...I think it's kinda cool!! And besides, it's going to get me from his garage to the exhaust shop for a real, higher flowing exhaust pipe. So I'm very happy to have it!

We took the test drive tonight. What a difference! It's so different when the turbo spools up! The temporary pipe that we made for the exhaust has a part that gets pretty narrow and therefore will restrict flow. So after tomorrow when I have a better pipe installed, I should see even more performance out of it. I think I'm going to be very happy with this mod!!!

In the forth picture, Bob's not really fixing the gas tank! We had a little trouble getting the old sway bar out, so he happily got the torch out and cut it. We replaced the stock bar with one from Whiteline. Didn't have it on for the test drive.

Bob Vette looked too nice sitting there, so I had to take a picture of it!

After the test run, when we came back and checked for leaks, we found the radiator leaking. I think I'm going to get a Fluidyne radiator to replace the stock. I don't want to cut corners now!
